Ramco Systems Ltd. standalone net profit for the second quarter ended September 2019 dipped to ₹15 crore against ₹16.80 crore reported for the corresponding year-ago period on finance costs and other expenses.

Revenue from operations rose to ₹84.96 crore from ₹79.89 crore.

In a statement, the company said its proportion of revenue from markets outside India stood at 76%. Asia continues to lead the pack, both in terms of order booking and revenue. Focus on driving digital transformation led to an increase in large opportunities getting added to the pipeline.

“Having etched a strong footprint in the aviation, logistics and global payroll segments, we are now witnessing the next big wave of opportunity emerge in asset-centric ERP market. This quarter, we won one of the largest ERP digital transformation mandates from a leading Asia-based cement organisation looking to digitise its operations,” said P.R. Venketrama Raja, chairman, Ramco Systems.

“Our asset-centric ERP struck the right chord with its ability to deliver simplification while addressing the complex operations with ease. With all our focus product lines showing good progress, we hope to keep the momentum going strong in future too,” he added.
