India Inc. took to Twitter to applaud the action of the Indian Air Force (IAF) in striking terror camps across the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan, in the aftermath of the Pulwama ambush.
“We congratulate the PM and the IAF for the successful air strikes on the terrorist training camps which Pakistan has claimed never existed! India is proud of the firm action taken in retaliation to the suicide attack on our soldiers a few days ago,” Ratan Tata, Chairman of Tata Sons, tweeted.
“The message from our armed forces is strong and resonates the pulse of the world’s most populous democracy. The nation continues to stand firmly behind our armed forces. #JaiHind #IndianAirForce,” Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani said in his tweet.
‘Feat in itself’
Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra tweeted, “And they returned safely... which is a feat in itself. Let us pray for the continued safety of those who protect us.”
RPG Group chairman Harsh Goenka’s tweet read; “#IndianAirForce show moves from Bangalore to #Balakot. #SwachhBharat campaign moves to #SwachhPakistan. ‘Josh’ converts to start of end of Jaish. #SurgicalStrike2.”
Aditya Ghosh, CEO India and South Asia, OYO Hotels and Homes, while contributing ₹1 crore to the Pulwama martyrs’ families, requested exhorted all OYO partners to contribute generously to the slain CRPF men’s martyrs’ families. “We salute & stand firm with the valour of our security forces for their sustained commitment to protect our freedom For the families of the #Pulwama martyrs a small token of gratitude from everyone,” Aditya Ghosh, CEO India and South Asia, OYO Hotels and Homes, tweeted.
Jindal Steel and Power Limited chairman Naveen Jindal offered salute to the Indian Air Force and the team that carried out the air strikes in Balakot. Gautam Singhania, chairman, Raymonds, while offering salute to the Indian Air Force, said, “Strong retaliation by India #KudosIndia #ProudIndian.”
Anil Agarwal, executive chairman of Vedanta Resources, while saluting the brave heroes of Indian Air Force for their timely action, said, “Terrorism is an enemy of humanity and it must end.”
Sajjan Jindal, chairman of JSW Group, while condemning the Pulwama attack, had said, “We have to now make sure that the world knows that they can’t mess with us. #India cannot be threatened! We move decisively when anyone attacks us in any way!”
Mr. Jindal also requested the government to call an emergency session of Parliament and abolish Article 370. “Let the country see which party supports this and which doesn’t. We have to draw the line right here.”
