HCL Technologies said it will hire about 10,000 freshers this fiscal under its ‘HCL Vista’ initiative to create employment opportunities in tier II and III cities. The new hires will be a mix of engineering as well as non-engineering graduates and Class XII pass-outs. “Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria would have to undergo a fee-based training programme on technical skills and post completion of training, they will be absorbed into HCL Technologies,” HCL Technologies said.

The training would be provided by HCL Training & Staffing Services, a subsidiary of HCL Technologies.

Candidates who successfully complete the training programme would be placed across career streams such as application development, testing, IT maintenance and support.

“Mega recruitment drive is a great opportunity for freshers to start their IT careers with HCL…All selected candidates undergo training which makes them job ready and post successful completion of the training programme,” said Sanjay Gupta, executive vice-president, HCL Technologies.
