Sangeetha Mobiles acquires Wavetel

Sangeetha Mobiles based in Bangalore has acquired the Chennai-based Wavetel Mobiles. Addressing presspersons here on Tuesday, L. Subhash Chandra, Managing Director, Sangeetha Mobiles, said the acquisition was part of the company's growth plans and was completed for a consideration of Rs. 13 crore minus stocks. Sangeetha has eight showrooms and Wavetel has 21 showrooms in Chennai. The entire operations of Tamil Nadu would be headed by John Yesudas, Founder, Wavetel Mobiles, as CEO of the new entity.
