Jivox, an online video advertising company based in Bangalore, is betting big on the southern market with major focus on Chennai.
The company has added interactive features in its online advertising platform, which helps advertisers to easily incorporate video advertising with simple HTML tags for integration within minutes, according to Naren Nachiappan, Managing Director.
In an interaction with The Hindu Mr. Nachiappan said the Jivox platform was used by many media companies, agencies and advertisers to author, manage and track interactive online video advertising campaigns.
He said the online advertising market in India was growing aggressively and in the Rs. 600-700 crore market, the video content contributed Rs. 80-100 crore.
In the next two years, this would reach Rs. 300 crore, he said. To expand its operations in the southern market, the company has recently raised second round of venture funding for $4 million.
In the first round, the company raised $10 million.
The company might tap the capital market for raising funds in the first quarter of next financial year, Mr. Nachiappan said.
