In4velocity partners Genpact

In4velocity Systems, a leading provider of real estate and infrastructure solutions, will partner Genpact, a global business process management company, on a five-year contract to provide innovative solution for a specialised set of requirements for the airport project of Bengal Aerotropolis Project Ltd (BAPL).

The project, billed as the country's first such greenfield (airport city) project, is set to come up near Durgapur in West Bengal.

The new partnership will provide the product platform for managing the construction, sales and leasing of the aerotropolis.

“We are pleased to have In4velocity System partner Genpact in providing us with innovative solution for a specialised set of requirements for this unique project,” said Subrata Paul, Director and CEO, BAPL.

BAPL's aerotropolis project is expected to be operational by 2011-12. The project is expected to be completed in 5-7 years at a total investment of around Rs. 10,000 crore.

Changi Airports International (CAI) of Singapore has a 26 per cent stake in BAPL. CAI CEO Wong Woon Liong and Deputy CEO Eugene Gan have joined the BAPL board.
