Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd., a company that provides electronic security products, CCTV, video door phones and different security systems to residential and institutional customers, is now focusing on the Internet, and plans to come out with innovative service offerings to ramp up its business.
“From hardware security products, we have now shifted focus to ‘Internet of Things’ which is enabling us to provide security services to customers via their mobile devices. We are using the power of Internet to make new service offerings,” said Pramoud Rao, Managing Director, Zicom Electronic. Leveraging the strength of cloud computing, telephony and Internet, Zicom has come out with several offerings such as eAlert, eAtteno, and eCount.
Other offerings include eSense, and eWatch.
“We are using the internet to build services around it. Now the hardware is only the enabler.
“The real services are rendered through the Internet. We are doing very well in this business,” Mr Rao said.
