Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Monday launched an updated version of its popular multi purpose vehicle ‘Innova’ priced between Rs 10.51 lakh and Rs 15.80 lakh.
The company also announced the launch of a new variant of its premium sports utility vehicle-Fortuner 4X4 Automatic, priced between Rs 24.17 lakh and Rs 26.49 lakh.
“The launch announcement coincides with the commemoration of the successful journey of the company’s flagship brand ‘Innova’, celebrating 10 years in India,” Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said in a statement.
TKM Director and Senior Vice President (Sales & Marketing) N Raja said both Innova and the Fortuner are trend setters in the Indian automobile industry.
“Alongside the launch of these two new products, we are very pleased to announce that TKM is the first manufacturer in the mass segment to have standardised front SRS airbags across all our models and in all grades,” he added.
Safety has always been of utmost importance to the company and this has been further reiterated by the firm’s efforts to standardise airbags in all our models, he added.
