Medi Assist ropes in 4,000 hospitals

Medi Assist, the Bengaluru-based managed healthcare organisation, said it now has 4,000 hospitals on its online cashless claims management portal, MediBuddy+, a top official said. “That is, in fact, a staggering 67 per cent of the total number of hospitals in our network. In some cities, up to 90 per cent of all preauthorisation requests daily are routed through our portal,” said Satish Gidugu, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Medi Assist. MediBuddy+ has helped more than 4,000 hospitals across the country completely eliminate faxes and emails to manage all the preauthorisation requests online, according to a company statement.
