ILFS JV gets Rs. 145-crore contract for rail flyover in UP

The IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd. has bagged a Rs. 145-crore project for rail flyover and other infrastructure works in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in a joint venture with GPT Infraprojects.

“IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company, in joint venture with GPT Infraprojects has received a Letter of Award from Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India for work of design and construction of rail flyover near Ganjkhwaja in Uttar Pradesh,” the company said in a filing to the BSE.

The contract also includes construction of major and minor bridges and other infrastructure works for double track electrified railway line in different stretches between Dehri-on-Sone and Mughalsarai section of Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

The total value of the project is Rs. 144.65 crore and it is likely to be completed in 30 months, it said.
