Emami net rise 22 %

Emami has reported a 21.9 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs.183.70 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2014.

Declining raw material prices contributed to the overall performance.

The third quarter also witnessed strong domestic business, which grew at a robust pace of 18.2 per cent according to a company statement.

Net sales stood at Rs.692.30 crore during the quarter under review against Rs.584.7 crore a year ago.

During the third quarter, Emami’s domestic business topline grew by 18.2 per cent while its international business grew by 20.6 per cent.
