Amrutanjan net dips on rise in raw material cost

Amrutanjan Health Care Ltd. has reported a 30.51% decline in its standalone net profit for the second quarter at ₹6.49 crore against ₹9.34 crore due to raw material cost increase and rupee depreciation among others. The company reported 10.36% increase in total income at ₹63.59 crore against ₹57.62 crore in the corresponding year earlier period. “We will see robust profit recovery in the coming quarters and margin reset to healthy levels,” said a company spokesman. Going forward, it will focus on reducing logistics costs.
