Alstom T&D to supply transformers for NTPC Nabinagar power project

Alstom T&D India on Monday said it has bagged a Rs. 105.5 crore order for supplying equipment for NTPC’s Nabinagar Power Generating Company's thermal power plant in Bihar.

The order covers the design, engineering, manufacture, supply, testing, erection and commissioning of generator transformers and associated power transformers and shunt reactor, the company said.

All equipment will be manufactured by Alstom T&D India’s transformer manufacturing and testing facility in Naini, Uttar Pradesh.

The Nabinagar power transformer package is due to be delivered by October 2017.
