Adani, Avantha signs share purchase pact for Korba plant

Avantha Power & Infrastructure Ltd (APIL) has signed a binding share purchase agreement with Adani Power to sell its Korba West Power Company Ltd. (KWPCL) for Rs.4,200 crore. KWPCL, a special purpose vehicle of APIL, has commissioned a coal-based thermal power plant of 600 MW.
