Music Producer Duo Almost Famous Ink Deal With YOUNG Paris, Release Single “Cash Machine”

Los Angeles, 7th July 2022 - Electronic DJ duo and music producers of Indian descent, Almost Famous have teamed up with Roc Nation artist - YOUNG PARIS for a rap single titled ‘Cash Machine’. The high energy track bridges between the UK drill sound, India and the gritty streets of Brooklyn.

The projects witnesses the coming together of creative director Madina Shalizi of The Shalizi Group who manages the likes of Marshmello, Alesso amongst others and marketing consultant Alec Lykken, a former Scooter Braun executive who has worked with artists of the likes of Lil Dicky, Hillary Duff. The track is being creatively managed by Hardik Zaveri and will be released worldwide by Create Music on 6th July 2022.

Almost Famous who now consider Los Angeles as their second home have recently inked a distribution deal with Create Music, home to artists such as The Chainsmokers and Migos. Prior to this release, they released their debut EP ‘Lost Boy Journey’ and a summer single ‘Breakout’ in collaboration with Soulja Boy.

Talking about the concept behind the single Rishab Sadarangani of Almost Famous states, “The sound that a cash machine makes as it counts money is music to our ears, so we said why not use it to make music for everyone’s ears.”

Explaining how the record came about Simarjeet Saini of Almost Famous adds “YOUNG PARIS further elaborates, “We linked up with Young Paris at a party, next thing we knew we were in the studio with him laying down bars and we couldn’t be happier.”

Almost Famous comprises of Mumbai bred, Rishab and Simar, who have known each other for several years. They met at a club in Bombay, Simarjeet convinced Rishab who was DJing at clubs to forge a partnership in music. Almost Famous has been active on the music scene for over 10 years having performed at major festivals like Time Out 72 and EVC in India apart from opening for major global acts.
