Dr. Maqsood Ahmed emerges as the new Youth Leader of Jammu and Kashmir

“A leader is known by the way, they leads the society and sets an example for the people”, this is the mantra, Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, a youth leader from Jammu and Kashmir, believes in. Dr. Ahmed, the founder and the CEO of Nizamia Education Group (NEG), has established himself as a ‘Yuva Neta’ (Youth Leader) by providing all possible support to the marginalized and weaker sections of society. Being an entrepreneur, he has successfully helped numerous students of Jammu and Kashmir in the sector of education through his educational consultancy which helps students in mentoring and helping them get enrolled in some of the reputed colleges in India.

Being born into a humble family ground in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Maqsood Ahmed has always seen chaos in and around Jammu and Kashmir. This left a deep impact on his mindset and from the very initial years, he felt the need to bring a positive change. He has been working for the welfare of the people for the past few years and has been proactive in raising concerns of the common people. There is no doubt that Education plays an important role in the lives of individuals and for the development of a society and catering to the same, Dr. Ahmed incepted the Nizamia Education Group in 2012. As of now, they have been a boon to numerous students and have provided scholarships to around 10000 students in the field of medical science, engineering, etc.

Apart from this, he is also a social activist and is involved in the welfare of the people in the region of Jammu and Kashmir. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Dr. Ahmed ensured that the people of the region does not suffer from the lack of medical facilities and catering to the same he provided people with free sanitizers, face masks, and life-saving drugs. He also selflessly served people at the lowest strata in the society with free-ration kits during the Covid phase.

Often referred to as a ‘Sacha Deshbhakt’ (True Nationalist) by the people of his region, Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, also works towards encouraging young students to get themselves enrolled into a school or college and to contribute towards the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir. Working towards the mission of a ‘Drug-Free India’, he is also known to have helped hundreds of students by encouraging them to give up on drugs and sending them to the rehab center.

Talking about his works and what motivated him to take up social causes, Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, the founder and the CEO of Nizamia Education Group says, “Coming from the state of Jammu and Kashmir, I have always felt that my state and the people there have suffered a lot in all aspects and this is the reason I felt that it is my moral responsibility to work for my people in every possible way. It gives me immense happiness when I help people in the smallest way possible and I do believe that a society cannot flourish until people come together to uplift each other.”

From organizing Blood Donation Camps to providing 500 cycles to promote Evergreen India, the youth leader has always been there for people. Dr. Maqsood Ahmed’s Nizamia Education Group (Group) is one of the best educational consultancy in India and the youth leader has been widely appreciated and recognized for his philanthropic activities and he vouches to keep doing so for the betterment of his state and the country.
