Popstar Rihanna has been honoured with her own wax statue at Madame Tussauds museum in Washington DC.

The 22-year-old ‘Rude Boy’ hitmaker is now sporting red hair but her wax incarnation copies her previous avatar, with a blonde quiff, reported Sun online.

Artists studied hundreds of photographs and video footage to capture the singer’s look.

Rihanna donated the figure’s outfit, which includes a black lace corset, black fitted jacket, black skinny pants and black silk heels.

The figure will be part of the museum’s Glamour Room, where guests can take photographs with the figure.
