He is humble despite his success and this quality is the reason for his success: CM

CHENNAI: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on Monday heaped praise on actor Rajinikanth for his simplicity and hard work.

Speaking at a function organised at Kamaraj Arangam to mark the record run of the actor’s movie Chandramukhi (804th day), Mr. Karunanidhi said Rajinikanth was humble in spite of his success.

This quality, the Chief Minister added, was the reason for the actor continuing to be successful.

Prime Minister

Mr. Karunanidhi pointed out how Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, during his address at the Japanese parliament, had referred to the popularity of Rajinikanth. “This gives me utmost happiness,” the Chief Minister said. He also said that he shared a close relationship with the actor.

The Sivaji Productions movie, directed by P. Vasu, is still showing at a theatre. Actors Kamal Hassan and Prabhu, Rajathi Ammal, Sivaji Ganesan’s wife Kamala, family members of Rajinikanth and actor Sridevi were among those present at the function.
