ITF Masters tournament for world’s top juniors to be held next year

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has announced a new international event for the top eight juniors of the world to be played in Chengdu, China, from April 3 to 5 next year.

The under-18 tournament, the ITF junior Masters, to be played at the Sichuan International Tennis Centre, will feature the top eight boys and girls, based on the year-end ranking.

The tournament will be on a knock-out format and each player would be assured of three matches to determine their final placing.
