SLC’s decision on Wednesday

Sri Lanka Cricket Board’s Executive Committee on Monday decided to hold further discussions with stakeholders before taking a final decision on the revised proposals of the controversial ICC revamp plan.

The SLC Exco, which met here today in an emergency session, though said that it would safeguard its “current rights and privileges”.

Sources said SLC should engage further with the stakeholders and a meeting will be held on Feb. 5 for this purpose. The official stand of the SLC would be made public on Feb. 5 after consultation with the stakeholder groups.
