Jockey C.Rajendra to retire

Ace jockey C.Rajendra, who has decided to hang his boots, was felicitated by the Jockeys Association Of Western India after the last race in the paddock here on Sunday.

C.Rajendra has ridden 1500 winners in his 20 year career. Except Indian Derby he has won almost all the other Derby races in the country and more than 75 group I races. He won the champion jockey award for more than a decade both in Mumbai and Pune.
