Like in the team championship, the Indian archers won the individual gold medals in recurve and fell short of taking the honour in the compound section as curtains came down on the International archery test event for the Commonwealth Games at the Yamuna Sports Complex here.

Tarundeep Rai and Deepika Kumari completed India's anticipated gold sweep in the recurve section. In the compound category, Malaysia's Mohammad Zaki Mahazan stopped Chungda Sherpa for the men's gold while Lucy Marie O'Sullivan halted Gagandeep Kaur in the women's final.

Out of the 24 medals at stakes, India expectedly topped the tally with 13 medals, comprising four gold, five silver and four bronze medals.
