Saurav Ghosal, Mahesh Mangaonkar, Harinder Pal Sandhu for senior nationals

Squash champion Mahesh Mangaonkar is gearing up to challenge his rivals Saurav Ghosal and Harinder Pal Sandhu in the 62nd senior National championship to be held at the Cricket Club of India courts here from November 3 to 8.

After the memorable Asian Games team gold medal winning display against Malaysia, Mangaonkar reached the final of the JSW PSA Challenger 10 tournament in Jaipur and won the second leg at the Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana.

Mangaonkar will be using the senior nationals to prepare for the Qatar PSA World squash championship from November 14 to 21.

The CCI-senior nationals will offer a total prize money of Rs. 6.5 lakh, with the men’s winner taking Rs. 1.3 lakh.
