Saurav Ghosal and Dipika Pallikal who survived the qualifying phase, crashed out in the first round of the main draw competition in the Qatar Classic, a $74,000 squash event, late on Thursday.
Saurav faced seventh seeded James Willstrop of England and lost out in the 44 minute tussle. Willstrop won 12-10, 12-10, 11-4.
Dipika faced the seventh Laura Massaro, also of England and went down inside half an hour. The British player won 11-9, 11-5, 12-10.
