International Junior Cup shooting: Anjum misses final

Anjum Moudgil recovered from a bad start to shoot 411.2, but missed the final by 3.1 points, in the junior women’s air rifle event of the International Junior Cup shooting championship in Suhl, Germany, on Thursday.

Anjum shot increasingly well with rounds of 102.7, 104.1 and 104.6 after having shot 99.8 on the first card, but it proved inadequate.

However, national women’s champion Mampi Das was below par, shooting 407.2 and was placed 58th in a field of 111.
