Easy win for Rajini Krishnan

Rajini Krishnan of Moto Rev India won the Group C 165cc class opening race with ease in the fourth round of the MMSC-FMSCI Indian National motorcycle racing championship at the Kari Motor Speedway in Chettipalayam here on Saturday.

It was a pole-to-finish ride for the Chennai star. It also helped him bridge the gap with championship leader Jagan. While Rajini eased his way past the rest of the bunch in style, P.K. Mithun Kumar (Chennai) had to sweat it out for a top place finish against city-mate R. Hari Krishnan in the Group D 165cc category.

The duo fought all the way to the finish line. It was just 0.352s that split the two.

TVS MMSC: Open Apache RTR: 1. S. Mathana Kumar (Try) 11:00.749s; 2. R. Aravind Ganesh (Chn); 3. Shyam Shankar (Chn). Novice Apache RTR: 1. S. Kannan 11:04.889; 2. J. Naresh Babu; 3. Vivian Gladwin David.
