Dipika Pallikal moves up in rankings

India's Dipika Pallikal moved up two spots to a career-high World No. 17 in the Women's International Squash Players' Association (WISPA) rankings which were updated after November's activity.

Jothi scored eight goals, as Karnataka blanked Puducherry 28-0 in the Hockey India South Zone National sub-junior girls' hockey championship here on Friday.

The results: Kerala 5 (Mereena 2, Ashwini, Asha, Revathy) bt Andhra Pradesh 0; Karnataka 28 (Jothi 8, Sandhya 5, Bhavya 4, Sushma 3, Vijayalakshmi 2, Spruthi 2, Kamala 2, Chandana) bt Puducherry 0.

Aditya tests Audi R8

Aditya Patel became the first Indian driver to test the Audi R8 LMS for the upcoming season of the ADAC GT Masters in Oschersleben, Germany, on Thursday.

Aditya drove 15 laps in the morning followed by a race simulation of five laps and a 35-minute race distance run.

Having finished fifth in the Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup last season, Aditya dreams of driving in the ADAC GT Masters next season.

Women's hockey team

The following players have been selected to represent the Tamil Nadu State women's hockey team for the Sri Lanka series to be held at Colombo from December 19 to 25. Players are requested to report to G. Buvaneswari, Hon. Secretary, TNSWHA, Dindigul for the State coaching camp at SDAT stadium from December 3 to 5.
