The reigning World and Olympic champion Abhinav Bindra will spearhead the Indian challenge at the shooting World Championship in Munich from July 31 to August 10.

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has announced 49 shooters including 23 juniors for the meet. Gagan Narang, unlucky to miss the final in Beijing, has been selected for three events (air rifle, free rifle 3-position and rifle prone), though he appeared for the trials in only one.
