Bengaluru: Bengal Hockey Association defeated Hockey Coorg 4-3 to qualify for the semifinals of the seventh Hockey India sub-junior boys’ hockey National (‘B’ division) championship here on Sunday.
A draw would have been sufficient for Hockey Coorg to make it to the last-four, but it was Bengal HA which topped the group and made the cut.
In another fixture, Namdhari XI qualified to the knockout round after edging Mumbai Hockey Association 3-2.
