India’s Armaan Ebrahim and his Sri Lankan teammate Dilantha Malagamuwa finished third driving for the Dilango racing team in the first race before a blown engine forced retirement in the next in the second round of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia series in Suzuka on Saturday and Sunday.
“Obviously, we are very disappointed with what happened in the second race, but at least we managed to pick up some points from our podium finish in the first.
“We now head to Buriram, Thailand, for the next round in July (23-24) and hopefully, will have a better run there,” said Armaan.
The duo had finished second in both races of the first round in Shanghai last month.
