Archers for National Games

The Archery Association of India in a release on Friday said nominated the following archers to take part in the individual event in four segments (men and women in recurve and compound) in the 34th National Games.

The release said that some of the archers who are participating in the team championship will also take part in individual events.

The following is list of States that would be taking part in the team events.

Men: Recurve: Jharkhand, SSCB, Assam, Nagaland, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh: Compound: Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, SSCB, Delhi, Jharkhand, Rajasthan.

Women: Recurve: Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Punjab, Assam, Manipur, Chandigarh, Nagaland: Compound: Jharkhand, Manipur, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Maharashtra.

Individual Olympic round:

Men: Recurve: Jayanta Talkudar, Akshay Mahod, B.M. Manoj Kumar, Jiten Singh, K. Harishchand, Avinash Kumar, Adonda Raju, Priyank, Pawan Xalxo, Mangal Singh Champia, Kapil, Baidiyanath, Rahul Banerjee.

Compound: Aryavart Dabs, Th. Chandra, Anil Kumar, Rahul, Sandeep, I. Sanatomba, G. Titomas, Babban Kumar, Deepak Karmarkar, Palton Hansda, Shivnath Nagesia, Praveen Kumar.

Women:

Recurve: Dola Banerjee, B.M. Vandana, Sushma, Rimil Biruily, Tarika, Seema Verma, G. Rupmala Devi, Runu Basmatary, V. Pranitha, Reena Kumari, Helen Mundu, N. Lavanya, Deepika Kumari.

Compound: Indrani Bhattacharjee, Vroshali Gorle, Niva Kerketta, Sakro Besra, Varshita, Kumari Aruna, Manjudha Soy, Sakshi, Namita Yadav.
