Fourth round of racing from tomorrow

Rivalries will resume at the Madras Motorsport Race Track from September 25 onwards as the fourth round of the J.K. Tyre National Racing Championships arrives in the city.

The qualifying races and one race each of the Formula Rolon, Formula Swift and Super Saloons categories will be held on September 25, while the remaining races — including two races of the Volkswagen Polo Cup — will be conducted on September 26.

In the Polo Cup, Sailesh, who has accumulated 185 points over three rounds, will vie with Vishnu Prasad (163 points) and Karthik Shankar (146).

The competition in the Formula LGB Swift will be between leader Ajay Kini (47 points) of Wallace Sports and teammate Gautham Parekh (35 points).
