John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg were back on the same court Saturday, with McEnroe winning 6-4, 7-6 (3) in the Champions Cup semifinals.

The 53-year-old Borg, who won five consecutive Wimbledon championships from 1976-1980, was playing competitively in the U.S. for the first time in 10 years.

The long-time rivals battled for almost two hours before McEnroe closed out the second-set tiebreaker.

The 51-year-old McEnroe, who lost to Borg in an epic Wimbledon final in 1980, will play Mark Philippoussis in the final of the over-30 event on Sunday. Philippoussis beat Jim Courier in the other semi.
