Japan named its gymnastics squad for the London Olympics on Saturday after the NHK Trophy, the final qualifying meet.
Brothers Kazuhito and Yusuke Tanaka made the men’s team and will join three-time world champion and Beijing silver medalist Kohei Uchimura, who was named to the team in December.
The other members of the men’s team are Ryohei Kato and Koji Yamamuro.
The women’s team will be made up of Rie Tanaka, Yu Minobe, Asuka Teramoto, Koko Tsurumi and Yuko Shintake.
Japan won the silver medal in the men’s team event at the Beijing Olympics.
