Mark Knowles was on Friday announced FIH Player-of-the-year 2014.
On the women’s side, Dutch midfielder Ellen Hoog was named Player-of-the-Year.
Dutch goalkeepers Jaap Stockmann and Joyce Sombroek were named Goalkeepers-of-the-year. The men’s and women’s Rising-stars-of-the-year were both from Argentina — Gonzalo Peillat and Florencia Habif. Dutch women’s team coach Max Caldas was women’s Coach-of-the-year and Australian legend Ric Charlesworth was men’s Coach-of-the-year.
