Teun de Nooijer, the highest capped Dutch player in the world with 453 international appearances, is among the eight stars from his country to feature in the Hockey India League (HIL) players’ auction to be held in December.
Floris Evers, skipper of the silver medal-winning the Netherlands team at the London Olympics, is also set to join the league.
Defenders Wouter Jolie and Taeke Taekema will add value to the auction along with Marcel Balkestein, Jeroen Hertzberger, Jaap Stockmann and Sander Baart.
