Bengaluru: Bengaluru FC ‘B’ was held to a 2-2 draw by Manipur’s Tiddim Road Athletic Union (TRAU FC) in the second Division I-League football tournament at the Bangalore Football Stadium here on Monday.

Bengaluru FC ‘B’ (8 points) lies third in Group ‘C’ behind TRAU FC (10) and Langsning FC (9).

The Blues held the lead on two occasions as Robinson Singh (ninth) and Parag Shrivas (13th) scored on either side of a Konsam Phalguni Singh (11th minute) strike for TRAU FC. Asheer Akhtar’s (58) second-half own goal pulled the visitor level.

The match witnessed a few nervous moments when TRAU FC winger Moirangthem Deepak Singh left the venue in an ambulance due to an on-field incident.

Deepak collided with a BFC player while the two players went for the ball, leading Deepak to fall to the ground. Deepak tried to break the fall with his hands and suffered a dislocated elbow. He was treated at a nearby hospital and has been advised rest.

BFC ‘B’ travels to Imphal next, where it will face TRAU FC in the reverse fixture on Saturday.
