Colombian singer Shakira
The official World Cup anthem has been chosen — a song by Shakira and South African band Freshlyground.
Time For Africa is expected to be released to radio stations worldwide, reports The Mirror .
It will be available for download from April 26.
Shakira and Freshlyground will perform the track at the World Cup kick-off concert on June 10, and at the tournament’s opening ceremony and before the July 11 final.
The announcement was made by Freshlyground on Friday.
