Emirates Airlines will sponsor Real Madrid for the next five seasons. Real Madrid club president Florentino Perez announced on Thursday that “Fly Emirates” will appear on the players’ shirts starting next season.

The club didn’t release the financial details of the agreement. The deal is the latest move by Emirates to spread its reach globally. It already sponsors football teams Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as FIFA, Formula One, and the ATP. — AP
