UEFA president Michel Platini said on Friday that concrete plans for the 2020 Euro finals would only be finalised next year.
The UEFA executive committee decided on Thursday that the finals of the 2020 European Championships would be held in various major cities throughout Europe.
Platini told a roundtable meeting that nothing had been finalised. “What we have at the moment is a white piece of paper.
Everything remains open.” The Frenchman said he was happy the executive has supported his idea. “It might be a crazy idea, but it is a good one,” he said.
The executive is expected to decide early next year in how many countries and cities the 2020 finals will be held.
