Manuel Lanzarote scored a goal in each half to guide FC Goa to a 2-1 win over Jamshedpur FC in the Hero-ISL here on Thursday.

Goa, which controlled the match throughout, scored through Lanzarote (45+1 and 60).

Jamshedpur, which defended well to deny the home team an early lead, pulled one back in the 54th minute through Trindade Matheus Goncalves.

Goa now has 16 points from nine matches, the same as Pune City, while Jamshedpur remained on 10 from nine matches.

Eduardo Debia Pelaez and Ahmed Jahouh combined well in the midfield, orchestrating the moves with delicate passes. Though the rival defence stood firm initially, it finally succumbed to the wave of Goan attacks.
