Lacazette stars for Arsenal

The Gunners maintain 100% home record; Real Betis blanks Levante

Arsenal kept up its 100 % home record this season with a 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Monday, with new signing Alexandre Lacazette grabbing both the goals at the Emirates.

West Brom was denied a penalty early on though when Gareth Barry, appearing in a record 633rd Premier League fixture, released the ball to Jay Rodriguez in the area who was then brought down by defender Shkodran Mustafi, but no foul was given.

Meanwhile in La Liga, Real Betis kept the momentum from its stunning win at Real Madrid by thrashing Levante 4-0 and moving closer to the top of the Spanish league on Monday.

Premier League : Arsenal 2 (Lacazette 20, 67-pen) bt West Brom 0.

La Liga : Real Betis 4 (Sanabria 47, 90+3, Ruiz 55, Limones 65) bt Levante 0 .
