The Copa America Centenario 2016 has reached its climax. This year too, Argentina and Chile will be battling out for the coveted trophy. In 2015, Chile defeated Argentina via penalty shoot-out 4-1.

Argentina has not won a major senior title since 1993, and are desperate to take revenge on their neighbours.

Following losses in last year's Copa final and in the World Cup 2014 final, Argentina are under massive pressure.

Out of 87 matches between them, Argentina has won 58, Chile 6, and drew 23. In the recent meeting, Argentina and Chile have won one match each.

In the group stages, Argentina defeated Chile 2-1, and entered the finals easily by outsmarting their other opponents convincingly.

On the other hand, Chile, despite losing their match to Argentina, won all the other matches quite comfortably.

Argentina expects Messi, Angel Di Maria and Gonzalo Higuain to fire against Chile in the finals.

Chile's prospects rest on Alexis Sanchez, Mark Gonzalez and Vargas. Chile's captain and goalkeeper Claudio Bravo can come under extreme pressure from Messi and Higuain.

Chile's Eduardo Vargas is the leading goal scorer in this Copa America with 6 goals, followed by Messi and Gonzalo Higuaín with 5 and 4 goals respectively.

Fans will be witnessing an interesting Copa America Centenario final on June 27 at MetLife Stadium, New York City.
