The all-India limited-over knock-out tournament for the Vijay Hazare Trophy will be played at Rajkot, Baroda and Ahmedabad from Nov. 19 to 25, while the inter-zonal limited-over tournament for the Deodhar Trophy will be held here from Nov. 29 to Dec. 3.
The national selectors are likely to announce the 30 probables for the 2015 World Cup down under after these two tournaments which have been scheduled ahead of the Ranji Trophy.
Two teams each from the five zones will qualify for the Vijay Hazare Trophy, while the five zones will compete for the Prof. Deodhar Trophy.
The zonal matches will be played as follows: North Zone (Nov. 6 to 14 at Amtar, Dharamshala, Bilaspur), South Zone (Nov. 7 to 13 at Hyderabad), East Zone (Nov. 7 to 15 at Kolkata), West Zone (Nov. 5 to 11 at Ahmedabad) and Central Zone (Nov. 7 to 13 at Nagpur).
The schedule: Vijay Hazare Trophy (all-India knock-out) Nov. 19: Two pre-quarterfinals at Rajkot; Nov. 20: Two quarterfinals at Rajkot; Nov. 21: Two quarterfinals at Vadodara; Nov. 23: Semifinals at Ahmedabad and Nov. 25: Final (d/n) at Ahmedabad.
