Unbeaten centuries by Jonty, Mor

New Delhi : Unbeaten centuries from Jonty Sidhu and Dinesh Mor helped Delhi take the first innings lead against Tamil Nadu in the semifinals of the Col. C.K. Nayudu under-23 cricket tournament here on Saturday. On day two, the duo added an unbroken 199 runs for the sixth wicket.

Delhi makes 417

Meanwhile in the Cooch Behar (u-19) Trophy on Saturday, an 104-run eighth-wicket partnership between Harsh Tyagi and Hrithik Shokeen helped Delhi post 417 against Tamil Nadu.

In reply, Tamil Nadu finished the second day at 115 for three with Pradosh Ranjan Paul unbeaten on 52.

Col. C.K. Nayudu (u-23): Tamil Nadu 229 vs. Delhi 369 for five in 104 overs (Anuj Rawat 31, Hiten Dalal 62, Yash Sehrawat 31, Jonty Sidhu 108 batting, Dinesh Mor 113 batting, M. Abhinav four for 91).

Cooch Behar (u-19): Delhi 417 in 139.2 overs (Sanat Sangwan 119, Gulzar Singh Sandhu 86, Harsh Tyagi 52, Hrithik Shokeen 71, R. Sonu Yadav three for 77, R.S. Jaganath Sinivas three for 110, U. Mukilesh three for 52) vs. Tamil Nadu 115 for three in 35 overs (Pradosh Ranjan Paul 52 batting).
