Sri Lanka has included uncapped batsman Ashan Priyanjan and recalled opener Dimuth Karunaratne after an absence of two years in a 16-member squad for its first two matches of a one-day international series against New Zealand.

Priyanjan has scored 1,594 runs in 60 first-class limited-over matches, including a century and 11 half-centuries.

Sri Lanka will host New Zealand for three one-day internationals and two Twenty20 games, starting with the first ODI on November 10 in Hambantota.
