Shreyas Iyer has been asked to join the Indian team as a cover for injured captain Virat Kohli ahead of fourth Test against Australia.
Kohli’s picked up a shoulder injury while fielding on the opening day of the third Test match against Australia.
He landed on his right shoulder while diving to pull the ball back before it crossed the long-on boundary. This forced him to watch the rest of the day’s play from the dressing room with an ice pack strapped to his shoulder.
