Karnataka might have missed regaining the Ranji Trophy by a whisker but the side has produced the leading run-scorer and wicket-taker for the season.

The talented Manish Pandey ended the season with 882 runs in nine matches at 63.00 with four hundreds. During his stroke-filled 144 in the second innings here against Mumbai, Pandey overtook the second-placed Ajinkya Rahane.

Mumbai's Rahane made 809 runs in nine matches at 73.54 with three centuries.

And lanky paceman Abhimanyu Mithun emerged the highest wicket-taker with 47 scalps in nine matches at 23.23. He picked up nine wickets in the final. Mithun had one ten-wicket match haul and three five-wicket innings hauls in the just concluded Ranji season.

He piped pace compatriot R. Vinay Kumar, who finished with 46 wickets.
