India slumped to its first defeat in the SBI Twenty20 World Cup for the Blind, losing by eight wickets to Pakistan here at the Aditya Global Sports grounds on Friday.

Put in to bat by Pakistan, India's Prakash Jayaramaiah continued his scintillating form, scoring his fourth century in five matches. India reached 250 in two in 20 overs, its first score below 300 when batting first in this tournament.

In reply, Pakistan sailed past the target with a little more than an over to spare, recording its fifth straight victory.

Nepal 151 for nine in 20 overs (Amar Oli 20, Luke Sugg two for 22) lost to England 152 for no loss in 8.2 overs (Andy Powers 77 n.o., Matt Dean 63 n.o.).

Sri Lanka 226 for four in 20 overs (Kumara 92, C. Deshapriya 54, Matugama 32) bt West Indies 199 for four in 20 overs (Taussant Gardner 62, Caneel Graham 48, Rodney Ramrattan 36 n.o.)

Australia 245 for six in 20 overs (Pritchard Daniel 81, Mark Haskett 66) bt Bangladesh 150 for six in 20 overs (Mohammad Sahadat Hossain 58, Mohammad Badal Kumar 40, Hamish Mackenzie two for 19).
