Despite losing the first Test in their series against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh roared back to clinch the second Test in Colombo on Sunday. It was their first-ever win against Sri Lanka, a feat achieved in their 100th Test.

How have others fared in their 100th Test?

Only three other teams — Australia, West Indies, and Pakistan — have won their respective 100th Test match.

New Zealand drew their 100th Test. Others have all ended up losing their 100th Test.

* England lost their 100th Test to arch-rivals Australia at Leeds on July 1, 1909 by 126 runs.

* Australia beat South Africa by an innings and 88 runs at Manchester on May 27, 1912.

* South Africa lost against England in Port Elizabeth on March 5, 1949 by 3 wickets.

* West Indies won against Australia in Kingston on March 3, 1965 by 179 runs.

* New Zealand drew with West Indies in Bridgetown on March 23, 1972.

* India lost to England in Birmingham on July 13, 1967 by 132 runs.

* Pakistan beat Australia by 71 runs on March 19, 1979 in at Melbourne.

* Sri Lanka played their milestone Test against Pakistan in Colombo on June 14, 2000. They lost the match by 5 wickets.

* Zimbabwe lost to Sri Lanka by 225 runs on October 29, 2016 in Harare.

Since making their Test debut against India in Dhaka on November 10, 2000, Bangladesh have won 9 Tests, lost 76 and drew 15.

Bangladesh has also played 321 ODIs (101 wins, 216 losses, 4 no-results) and 65 T20 internationals (20 wins, 43 losses and 2 no-results).
